Overall sales for that initial year totaled $60,000. The first recorded sales revenues involved the assembly and machining of stainless steel valves, pipe fittings and various components. Through 5 years of operation, the business had expanded to 40 staff and their annual sales volume had increased to $330,000. Now, Cascade is among the top international makers within the material handling trade.

Production and design of the company's original hydraulic cylinder paved the way in Cascade's aggressive quest of new business possibilities. During the past 60 years, the material handling industry has grown into a highly complex area and Cascade has proudly performed a part on this growth. Cascade at present continues to grow as the leader supplier of lift truck accessories and different associated products. In the 1950's, Cascade started designing, manufacturing and selling hydraulic attachments.
